20 years of counseling experience has sculpted my compassionate approach to individualized, outpatient psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders and offer support to adults, ages 18-64, both in person at Solar Hill in Brattleboro, VT and via telehealth.

Depression & Anxiety
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at various times in our lives. Through an integrative psychological lens, I combine elements of Acceptance + Commitment (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) blended with person-centered talk therapy, to help you accept and manage your painful experiences while taking action on values based commitment to create the life you most wish to live.
Trauma & PTSD (EMDR)
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic events throughout their lives. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I will help you understand the science behind trauma, and teach you how to develop and deepen adaptive neural pathways to overcome these symptoms while guiding you through the process of desensitizing negative neural networks through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) integrated with other psychological tools that can help you regain control.
I am EMDR certified and will soon be trained in Brainspotting as my secondary brain therapy tool.
Life Transitions / Perinatal + Postpartum Support
Transitioning from one phase of life to another can be quite challenging as levels of depression, anxiety and grief surge while the body and mind expand, allowing room for new growth and awareness. Emerging adulthood, pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, marriage, loss of a loved one are uniquely felt experiences that can be difficult to self navigate. Invite me along on your journey and I will help guide you towards and alliance with your most Authentic Self. Postpartum Support International (PSI) trained.
